BCG004: BlueStorm/Express, Isolated, 4-Port, Low-Profile

Each Port has a 4-Position switch which sets the mode for the Port. Positions #1&2 set the basic mode for

the port. Positions #3&4 perform other setup functions.

Notes:

1. Loopback mode connects TXRX / RTSCTS,DSR,RI / DTRDCD at the Line Interface device,

and can be used to test the board operation through all isolators.

2. The termination function only works in RS422 or RS485 mode.

3. Slow slew rate works in any mode except loopback.

4. All switch settings can be over-ridden by software (switches can be left in any position when software

control is used). The board will power-up with the settings established by the switches, prior to

software controlling the settings.
